Hello and welcome to my poetry blog.

This is not so much a blog, as it is an open archive for showcasing my work.

That does not mean that you are not welcome to post comments or start literary discussions. I would very much appreciate any type of input, as long as it is tactful and to the point.

Most of my work has previously been posted either on the Android poetry application Poet’s Corner, where I was known as Buttersoft, Jeanette S, and very briefly Not Her, inΒ the Facebook Group “The Writing Club” or on the website Allpoetry.com, where I also seek inspiration and sincere commentary

Again, feel free to comment on my work. I would very much like you to.

Hope you find my work inspiring πŸ™‚

Please note that some of the poems in the Erotic category are very explicit, and because I am a teacher, and I might have some of my students check out my work, I have made them password protected.

You may get the password from me, if you write me an email at Β  Β  jean1te@gmail.com… to ask for it πŸ˜‰

    Oh Butter oh Butter
    You lovable nutter
    The bestest of names
    That a poet could utter
    With only your words
    You send us aflutter
    Your heads in the clouds
But your minds in the gutter πŸ˜‰
